Natural Cemetery price list (August 2025)

We certify natural cemeteries that comply with our burial protocols, but we do not control pricing. That is the decision of each cemetery owner (Councils).

The following price list combines the Councils’ plot fee (the cost of the ground) and interment fee (the cost of digging and filling in the grave). Other fees may apply – such as “Out of District” fees for people who lived outside the council region at time of death, and weekend burials. Contact the respective Councils for further details.

Note: Council fees make up one part of funeral costs. You will need to pay for a certified casket or shroud, and it is likely (but not necessary) you will need the paid services of a certified funeral director.
